Our Adventure

Last Tuesday I was able to see little Judson Mac enter into our world. It was so amazing. He was so perfect! We have family in town and our house is a little crazy. The phone will not quit ringing... for some reason family members feel a need to call every 5 minutes. There are kids all over the place and right after I clean up one mess another is made. But I realize that instead of getting mad I am actually enjoying the chaos. My stepmom and sister have been here helping out with my girls and doing the great things g-ma's do. We have had a lot of late night girl night runs happening and I love it.

I thought seeing Judson would make me a bit baby hungry but it didn't. I am enjoying my uninterrupted nights. I love the fact that Addi can almost walk and soon will talk and I won’t have to guess what she wants LOL. If we can just get this damn potty training thing down I will be a happy mom.

I am grateful for my family and love their company.

Thank God for Kids

We have begun the potty training for real again. This time I am determined to do it. I will not yell, I will not kick, I will not scream. I will change outfits 10 times a day and I will smile while doing it. Oh I love being a mom...

If it weren't for kids have you ever thoughtThere wouldn't be no Santa Clause
Look what the stork just broughtThank God for Kids
We'd all live in a quiet houseWithout Big Bird or a Mickey MouseAnd Kool-aid on the couchThank God for Kids
Thank God for kids there's magic for a while
A special kind of sunshine in a smile
Do you ever stop to think? or wonder why?The nearest thing to Heaven is a child
Daddy how does this thing fly?
A hundred other where's and why's
You really don't know but we tryThank God for Kids
When you look down in those trustin' eyes
That look to you, you realize
Its love that you can't buyThank God for Kids
When you get down on your knees tonight
To thank the Lord for his guiding light
And pray they turn out right
Thank God for Kids

A dash of hope

Okay I decided to start blogging. After all I want to be savy and this is the thing to do. I must say I have been so touched in the past few hours. Jason's cousin Brytt has a blog and if you want to feel the spirit stongly I suggest you take a few minutes and check it out. http://teagandashpettit.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html I can't believe how strong Brytt and Ryan are. I was touch so deeply by their attitude and I totally felt the spirit as I read their blog. I don't have much more to say other than thanks to the Pettit family for touching my heart.
